LH Charney has named Winick Realty Group as the exclusive brokers for the largest retail opportunity in Times Square—1441 Broadway.

With  74,686 s/f of multi-level retail and new LED signage , the retail at 1441 Broadway represents “an incomparable addition to the Crossroads of the World” said Jeff Winick, CEO.

“The retail at 1441 Broadway is truly a timeless retail gem that exudes both the glamour of New York and the glitz of Times Square,”added Winick Realty Group broker Melinda Miller. Miller, Kelly Gedinsky and Winick are working with ownership to lease the retail availability, which spans the full block on 41st Street.

Ownership is revitalizing the building, installing a new three-story glass façade and working to take advantage of previously-untapped signage potential. 1441 Broadway  offers significant space flexibility. Winick Realty Group and the owners have retained signage consultants to design and construct new glamour signage. The 12,270 s/f of LED signage, combined with the new glass façade, will give the incoming tenant  brand exposure visible from Madison Square Garden to the Times Square Bowtie.

“Tenants will be able to couple the retail space with invaluable Times Square LED signage, creating an iconic retail play that encompasses not only the retail space but potentially branding the entire building,” said Miller.

Thebig box opportunity is comprised of approximately 12,834 s/f on the ground floor, 17,233 s/f in the lower level, 16,619 s/f on the second floor, 11,396 s/f in the mezzanine, and 16,604 s/f on the third floor.

Each floor offers high ceilings, with the second floor having 20-foot ceilings to complementwide-angle views of Times Square. With  full-block frontage, tenants will achieve dual corner exposure on the two most heavily-trafficked streets in all of Times Square—Broadway and Seventh Avenue.

“1441 Broadway sits between two of Manhattan’s densest and most-traversed neighborhoods—Herald Square and Times Square—giving the tenant incomparable opportunities to reach customers,” said Gedinsky.  “The retail at 1441 Broadway is crisp, clean and, most of all, big. Nothing else on the market compares.”
