Rew-Online Terms of Use

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (these "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us, governing your access to and use of the Rew-Online website located at rew-online.com, including all pages, tools, content, and services made available through it (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, clicking a box or button indicating acceptance, or certifying your permitted use of the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Site.

PLEASE READ SECTION 13 CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES THAT DISPUTES BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND INCLUDES A WAIVER OF CLASS ACTIONS AND JURY TRIALS, SUBJECT TO A RIGHT TO OPT OUT.

2. About the Site

The Site provides informational access to two independent collections of data: (a) a directory of publicly sourced information about individuals (the "Person Catalog"); and (b) a directory of information about real property, compiled from county assessor records, recorded instruments, and other public sources (the "Property Catalog").

The Site is intended for use only by persons located in the United States who are at least 18 years of age. The Site is a general-purpose informational resource. It is not a consumer reporting agency, an investigative service, a title company, an appraiser, or a provider of legal, financial, or professional advice.

3. NOT A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY; FCRA PROHIBITION

The Site is not a "consumer reporting agency" as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. ("FCRA"), and the information available on the Site does not constitute a "consumer report" for purposes of the FCRA. The information on the Site has not been collected in whole or in part for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports and is not intended to be used as a factor in establishing any person's eligibility for any purpose regulated by the FCRA.

You may not use the Site, or any information obtained through the Site, for any of the following purposes, or for any other purpose that would require compliance with the FCRA:

- evaluating a person's eligibility for employment, promotion, reassignment, retention, or volunteer service;
- tenant or housing screening;
- evaluating a person's eligibility for credit or a loan;
- insurance eligibility or underwriting;
- educational admissions, scholarships, or financial aid;
- evaluating eligibility for a government license or benefit; or
- any other purpose defined as a "permissible purpose" of a consumer report under 15 U.S.C. § 1681b.

By using the Site, you certify that you will not use any information obtained from the Site for any FCRA-regulated purpose. Any such use is a material breach of these Terms, is unauthorized, and may expose you to liability under federal and state law.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

4.1 Permitted use. Subject to these Terms, you may access and view the Site for your personal, non-commercial, informational use.

4.2 Prohibited uses. You may not, and you may not permit, assist, or enable any third party to:

1. use the Site or any information obtained from it for any FCRA-regulated purpose (Section 3);
2. use the Site or any information obtained from it to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, harm, defraud, or embarrass any person, to locate a person for the purpose of causing harm, or in violation of any protective order, address confidentiality program, or applicable law;
3. use the Site to make decisions about any individual's rights, benefits, or legal status;
4. access the Site by any automated means, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or spiders, or otherwise harvest, extract, or index any data from the Site, except by search engines performing ordinary indexing in accordance with our robots.txt directives;
5. copy, reproduce, republish, resell, license, distribute, or create derivative databases from any portion of the Site's data;
6. circumvent, disable, or interfere with any access controls, rate limits, suppression mechanisms, or security features of the Site, or access any data that has been suppressed or removed;
7. misrepresent your identity or purpose, or impersonate any person, when using the Site or submitting any request through it;
8. use the Site to violate any applicable federal, state, or local law, including privacy, anti-doxxing, anti-stalking, and data protection laws; or
9. frame, mirror, or deep-link to interior pages of the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

4.3 Enforcement. We may investigate suspected violations, throttle or block access, suppress content, and pursue all available legal and equitable remedies, including injunctive relief and damages, against any person who violates this Section. You agree that a violation of Sections 4.2(4)–(6) causes us irreparable harm for which monetary damages are inadequate, entitling us to injunctive relief without the necessity of posting a bond.

5. Nature, Sources, and Accuracy of Information

5.1 Sources. Information on the Site is compiled from government records, other publicly available sources and datasets. We do not create the underlying records and do not independently verify them.

5.2 No warranty of accuracy. Public records and compiled datasets frequently contain errors, omissions, and outdated information, and records relating to different individuals with similar identifying details may be associated incorrectly. Information on the Site may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not current, and is provided for general informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

5.3 Estimates and model outputs. Certain values displayed in the Property Catalog, including any estimated market value, valuation range, or similar figures, are outputs of automated valuation models. They are estimates only; they are not appraisals; they are not statements of fact; and they must not be relied upon for any transaction, lending, insurance, tax, or legal purpose.

5.4 Corrections and disputes. If you believe information about you on the Site is inaccurate, you may notify us at [email protected] or through the Opt-Out Tool. We may, at our discretion, correct, suppress, or remove the information; our practices regarding removal requests are described in the Privacy Policy.

5.5 No professional advice. Nothing on the Site, including blog content, constitutes legal, financial, tax, real estate, or investment advice.

6. Opt-Out and Removal

Individuals may request removal of their information from the Person Catalog using the Opt-Out Tool. The scope, mechanics, and limitations of removal, including expedited handling for judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, participants in address confidentiality programs, and other protected persons, are described in our Privacy Policy, which governs in the event of any conflict with this Section. Attempting to submit removal requests on behalf of another person without authorization, or in bad faith, is a violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our content. The Site, including its design, software, compilation, arrangement, and selection of data, original text, blog articles, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, database, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited viewing right in Section 4.1, no license or ownership right is granted to you.

7.2 Public records. We claim no ownership of the underlying public records themselves; our rights extend to the selection, arrangement, enhancement, and presentation of the data on the Site.

7.3 Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice compliant with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

8. Advertising and Affiliate Relationships

The Site may display advertisements and may contain links to third-party websites, including websites of third-party people-search and data providers. Some of these links are affiliate links: if you click them and take an action on the third party's website, we may receive a commission. Affiliate placements are identified as advertising where they appear. We do not operate, control, or endorse third-party websites; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which may differ materially from ours. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, products, services, or data practices of any third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, TOOLS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, OR THAT IT RELATES TO THE PERSON OR PROPERTY YOU INTENDED TO SEARCH.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) IN NO EVENT WILL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OR OUR AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR DATA PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; AND (B) OUR AND OUR AFFILIATES’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN THAT CASE, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site or any information obtained from it, including any use in violation of Section 3 or Section 4; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

12. Suspension; Termination; Changes to the Site

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Site or any part of it, and may suppress, modify, or remove any data, at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Sections 3, 4, 5, and 9 through 15 survive any termination of these Terms or of your access to the Site.

13. Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

13.1 Informal resolution first. Before initiating arbitration, you and we each agree to attempt to resolve any Dispute informally: the complaining party must send the other a written notice describing the Dispute and the requested relief (to us: [email protected]; to you: any contact information you have provided), and the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the Dispute for 60 days. This is a condition precedent to arbitration.

13.2 Agreement to arbitrate. Except as provided in Sections 13.5 and 13.6, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any information obtained through the Site (a "Dispute") shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, as modified by this Section. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section. The seat of arbitration is Wilmington, Delaware; hearings may be conducted by videoconference. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13.3 CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER. YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party's individual claim. If this Section 13.3 is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) shall proceed in court under Section 13.7, and the remainder of this Section 13 remains in effect.

13.4 Mass arbitration protocol. If 25 or more demands for arbitration raising similar Disputes are filed against us within a 180-day period by or with the assistance of the same or coordinated counsel or organizations, the parties agree that: (a) the demands will be resolved in staged proceedings, beginning with 10 bellwether arbitrations selected half by claimants' counsel and half by us; (b) all remaining demands will be held in abeyance, and no filing or administrative fees will be due for them, until the bellwether arbitrations conclude; (c) following the bellwethers, the parties will engage in a 60-day global mediation; and (d) if the remaining demands are not resolved, they will proceed in further batches of no more than 50. Statutes of limitations are tolled for demands held in abeyance under this Section.

13.5 Small claims carve-out. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in a jurisdiction of competent venue instead of arbitration, so long as it remains an individual small claims matter.

13.6 Injunctive relief carve-out. We may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or stop unauthorized access, scraping, data harvesting, or infringement or misuse of our intellectual property or the Site's data, without first engaging in the process described in Sections 13.1–13.2.

13.7 Forum for non-arbitrable claims. Any Dispute that is not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13.8 Right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the date you first accept these Terms, stating your name and your intent to opt out of arbitration. Opting out of arbitration does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that Section 13 is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Limitations period. To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim accrues, or it is permanently barred.

15.2 Changes to these Terms. We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after the revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes to Section 13 will not apply to Disputes of which we had written notice before the change.

15.3 Entire agreement; severability; waiver; assignment. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remainder will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15.4 Contact. Questions about these Terms: [email protected].
