Lee & Associates NYC has represented JW Player, a leading video software and data insights platform, in a 12,044 square foot office lease at 530 Seventh Avenue in the Garment District.

JW Player pioneered online video capabilities, as creators of the world’s first open-source video player in 2008, and has since expanded to video hosting, streaming, advertising, and analytics.

A Lee & Associates NYC team of Alan Friedman and Woody King represented JW Player. A CBRE team of Paul Amrich, Neil King, Alexander Golod, and Maxwell Tarter represented the landlord, Savitt Partners, alongside an internal team of Brian Neugeboren, Nicole Goetz, and Bob Savitt.

“We’re thrilled to have found a space that will provide JW Player with a creative layout in a great building that will continue to feed the company’s innovative environment,” said Executive Managing Director of Lee & Associates NYC, Alan Friedman. “The partial 16th floor space at 530 Seventh Avenue was perfect for their needs and move-in ready, which made for a seamless transition.”

“We are excited to welcome JW Player to 530 Seventh Avenue,” said Bob Savitt, Founder & President of Savitt Partners. “The company is a trailblazer in its industry and will make an excellent addition to our growing roster of tech-forward tenants. We’re looking forward to the inspirations and advancements JW Player will create at their new headquarters in the years to come.”

The art deco commercial office building houses rooftop cocktail lounge, The Skylark along with flexible workspace Space530, which provides private offices, hourly meeting room rentals and more. 530 Seventh Avenue is located near Times Square with several nearby public transportation options available at the Times Square-42nd Street, 34th Street-Penn Station and the 42nd Street-Bryant Park transit stops.
