Cushman & Wakefield and strategic alliance partner JRT Realty Group, Inc. have collaborated to arrange a long-term lease for National Public Media at 200 West 41st Street.

The tenant, which offers brands sponsorship opportunities across public media stations, will occupy an entire floor, which totals 8,780 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Harry Blair, Sean Kearns and Sayo Kamara represented the landlord, New York City REIT, while the tenant was represented by Greg Smith and Kevin Kennelly of JRT Realty Group.

“We are thrilled to welcome National Public Media to 200 West 41st Street,” said Blair. “The building offers furnished and wired pre-built spaces and is surrounded by a multitude of transportation and retail options, making it a great fit for any kind of tenant.”

200 West 41st Street is a 169,910 s/foffice property that recently underwent a full capital improvement program consisting of a new lobby, elevator cabs and building mechanicals. The building features furnished and wired creative installations and is accessible 24 hours a day.

“National Public Media’s relocation, which puts them close to industry colleagues, allows a more seamless collaboration between related organizations, provides an easy commute for their employee base and will allow the firm to continue to attract and retain top industry talent,” added Smith.

The 21-story property is in proximity to Penn Station, Port Authority and Grand Central. The asset is surrounded by more than 260 restaurants, as well as a plethora of additional retail options.
