Leases adding up at ATCO boutique

ATCO Properties has completed four new leases and renewals totaling 25,127 s/fat 630 Third Avenue.

In the largest transaction, law firm Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP signed a five-year, 10,193 s/f renewal across a portion of the 17th floor at the 23-story class A office property in Midtown East.

The firm, which has been in the building since 2002, will remain until 2024.

In addition, The Consulate General of Uzbekistan and Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan to the United Nations completed a 10-year, 5,378 s/f lease on a portion of the 5th floor.

Law firm Cox, Padmore, Skolnik & Shakarchy signed a seven-year renewal and brokerage, Katalyst Securities, renewed for one year.


“These four transactions highlight the strength of 630 Third Avenue as a top-tier location for a wide variety of prestigious tenants,” said Kate Hemmerdinger Goodman, co-president at ATCO Properties & Management.

Stephen Gordon of Newmark Knight Frank represented Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP; Gregory Gang and Sergio Turaev of Lee & Associates represented the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan; Kate Hemmerdinger Goodman of ATCO represented Cox Padmore, Skolnik & Shakarchy, LLP; and Matt Kashani of Norman Bobrow & Company represented Katalyst Securities LLC in negotiations.

Ownership was represented by Jonathan Franzel and Brittany Silver of Newmark Knight Frank in the Mission of Uzbekistan to the United Nations transaction; Jonathan Franzel of Newmark Knight Frank in the Katalyst Securities renewal; and Atco Brokerage Services for the Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP and Cox, Padmore, Skolnik & Shakarchy LLP transactions. Asking rents were in the $65 to $69 per square foot range.

630 Third Avenue is home to a tenant roster that includes Sard Verbinnen & Co., Levy, Sonet & Siegel, Private Label Manufacturers Association, Commonwealth Land Title and Kraft & Kennedy.

A LEED-EBOM Silver certified office building, 630 Third Avenue features a newly-designed lobby, new windows, new elevators, state-of-the-art security, upgraded mechanical systems and a 24-hour security staff.
