A fashion, photography and design coworking space is taking on the city with its first location in SoHo.
VillageOne, a coworking company that will feature a professional photo studio with equipment and a makeup room, just leased 4,000 s/f at 594 Broadway.
“Creative freelancers like flexibility in their workspaces, however they do not find value in the ubiquity, frequent distractions and general one-size-fits-all mindset that comes with traditional coworking spaces,” Vivienne Yang, founder and CEO of VillageOne, said. “Our new space at 594 Broadway provides these professionals with a cohesive and synergistic environment where they can conveniently collaborate with like-minded colleagues.”
Yang founded the company in 2018 to offer an imaginative twist on coworking with 24-hour access, private meeting rooms and networking events geared for creatives.
Elliot Warren of The Kaufman Organization repped VillageOne, while Donna Vogel was the in-house rep for GFP Real Estate. The asking rent was $65 per s/f.
The 12-story building is also home to other tenants such as the similar coworking space provider Breather, the hair salon Shobha, and Gallery Juno.
