A group founded by director David Lynch to help at-risk populations reduce stress has leased office space at 228 East 45th Street.
The David Lynch Foundation will relocate to a 14,113 s/f space in July from its existing 10,500 s/f office at nearby 216 East 45th Street.
EVO’s Robert Rosenberg and CEO Ira Fishman represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Robert Taylor of Colliers represented the tenant.
DLF was founded in 2005 by the director — noted for such films as Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, and the TV series Twin Peaks — to fund stress-reducing modalities for underserved inner-city students; veterans with PTSD and their families; women and girls who have been victims of violence, rape, and abuse; American Indians suffering from diabetes and high suicide rates; homeless adults and teens participating in re-entry programs; and incarcerated adults and juveniles.
