Stellar Management signed a retail lease with CVS Pharmacy for a prime corner at One SoHo Square, its Class A office building on the border of SoHo and Hudson Square.
CVS will take the ground floor space at the intersection of Spring Street and Avenue of the Americas.
“We’re excited to welcome CVS to One SoHo Square,” said Ryan S. Jackson, a principal at Stellar Management. “The chamfered corner is hard to miss and, with some of the highest retail ceiling heights in SoHo and Hudson Square, the space has a commanding presence.”
David LaPierre and Kristen Crossman from CBRE represented Stellar in the deal while CVS was represented by Newmark RKF vice chairman Ariel Schuster, Brandon Eisenman and Thomas Cholnoky. The pharmacy is expected to open in Spring 2019.
One SoHo Square has some of the largest floorplates available in Midtown South, offering single floorplates of up to 26,000 s/f within One SoHo Square East – a 15-story building, and One SoHo Square West – a 13-story building –connected with a new side-core configuration. The building amenities include a rooftop deck available to all tenants, 24/7 concierge, messenger center, secure bike facilities and private outdoor terraces on some floors.
CVS will occupy 9,900 s/f on the ground floor and 3,366 s/f in the lower level of the newly renovated C office.
“CVS will be a great addition to Hudson Square, which has more than 53,000 office workers and a residential population of more than 13,000,” said Schuster.
