Wonder Works Construction Corp. announced it has been tapped to build four apartment developments in Manhattan.
The general contracting and development firm is currently wrapping up construction of Oosten, the Piet Boon-designed 216-unit condo development at 429 Kent Avenue, and Williamsberry, a 54-unit condo conversion at 338 Berry Street being marketed by celebrity broker Fredrick Eklund.
The new residential projects include 436 and 442 East 13th Street, a residential condominium project being developed by the Amirian Group and Bridgton Holdings. Ryan Serhant of Million Dollar Listing
New York fame is marketing the two new seven-story buildings, each with approximately 13,000 s/f.
117 West 21st Street, also being developed by the Amirian Group, includes the expansion of a former Hershey factory from a four-story to six-story luxury condominium with on-site, automated parking. Designed by GRADE Architects, it will have six floor-through apartments and two duplex penthouses.
403 Greenwich Avenue, is a 16,723 /sf nine-story building being developed by Colonnade Group and Olympic Real Estate, and designed by Morris Adjimi. It will have five lavishly-appointed condominium apartments.
In addition to its general contracting and construction management work, Wonder Works is currently developing two of its own projects, including a single-family home formerly owned by designer Karim Rashid at 357 West 17th Street in West Chelsea.
With interiors designed by Andres Escobar, the 12,000 s/f “mansion” features five bedrooms, eight baths and a host of fine amenities.
The builder is also scheduled to break ground on 302 East 96th Street at the end of this year.
That project will feature 48 affordable luxury condominium apartments.
