Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty recently welcomed veteran associate real estate broker Rita Bender and her team of agents to its Huntington office.

Bender was recognized as one of the top agents in the U.S. with Coldwell Banker and was the recipient of both a Distinguished Service Award and Community Service Award by the Long Island Board of Realtors.
She has also dedicated herself to community service on Long Island, serving the Huntington Arts Council and The National Trust for Historic Preservation and Habitat for Humanity .
Joining Rita at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty are her team members, Karen Richardson, Jenette Dreitlein and Deanna Chassen.

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has appointed Sam Marcus sales manager of its Great Neck initiative, which will result in another North Shore sales office for the organization.

Marcus previously served as the assistant sales manager for its Glen Head/Old Brookville/Sea Cliff offices.
Marcus is a consistently top producing associate broker with two decades of real estate experience that includes leasing and property management.
Prior to this ssignment, he worked out of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Roslyn and Manhasset offices.
Before concentrating his efforts on sales management, he was the Manhasset office’s outstanding listing leader, outstanding unit leader and bulk listing (condos, co-ops, apartments) leader in 2010 and 2011.
Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s Great Neck office, which will be its 28th, is expected to open later in the spring, once renovations are completed.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that John Oliveira has been named executive manager of sales, leading the company’s Westchester offices in Chappaqua and Armonk.
Oliveira will be reporting to Scott Elwell, Douglas Elliman’s newly-appointed senior executive regional manager of

sales for Westchester and Connecticut. He is assuming this leadership role as the firm continues its expansion throughout these regions.
Oliveira has spent 13 years, his entire professional career, in the real estate industry. He has been an award-winning top producer at Douglas Elliman, working with buyers and sellers throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess counties and the greater Hudson Valley area.
Over the course of his career, he has been a mentor to agents, and built and led a team of seven agents.
Oliveira has owned multifamily investment properties since the age of 19. He bought his first house in 2005, balancing an academic schedule with his real estate business.
He has a degree in Business Administration from Pace University.

Bohemia Realty Group has promoted three of its brokers to the newly formed Sales Management Division.
Spearheaded by Beth Gittleman, Head of Sales and Development, the three brokers working with her in managing and mentoring the company’s 150-plus sales agents and brokers are Emily Ackerman, Brian Letendre and Daoud Heidami.
Ackerman and Letendre have been with Bohemia since its 2012 launch. Heidami joined the firm in 2015, shortly after moving to New York from California.

Fox Residential Group has welcomed Claudia Fields to its team.

A native New Yorker, Fields will specialize in the sale and rental of apartments and townhouses throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
In addition, she will be working directly with Fox Residential president Barbara Fox on client acquisition strategies.
Prior to joining Fox, Fields was an education consultant and teacher. She has held teaching positions at Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center Hospital Schools and has served in private practice as a learning consultant and education facilitator.
She holds an M.S. in special education from The Bank Street College of Education and earned her bachelor’s degree from Long Island University.

Houlihan Lawrence announced the appointment of Stephanie Lynch Williams as its new head of digital.

Williams will oversee all digital and mobile marketing, product and strategy efforts for the firm’s 1,300-plus agents.
Williams joins from Goldman Sachs where she served as vice president of brand and content strategy, responsible for corporate branding, marketing and advertising initiatives.
In addition to overseeing the company’s paid digital strategy and corporate ad campaign, she led content partnerships across a multitude of digital platforms.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Williams worked at Macquarie Capital.

Douglas Elliman has welcomed Jonathan Davis and John Giruzzi. The agents, who together comprise The Davis Team, are based in the Bridgehampton office.
Jonathan Davis is an active member of the East End community. A Southampton local, he learned the business from his father, Tim Davis one of the top brokers in the country.
After a stint with Compass, Davis joined Brown Harris Stevens as an agent.
A graduate of Southampton High School and Lynn University, he is a member of the Parrish Art Museum.
John Giruzzi also has deep roots in East End real estate, having learned about development and land usage from his father, John Rosko his real estate career to date has been spent with Brown Harris Stevens.
A Morrisville State College graduate, Giruzzi is an amateur boxer and former Syracuse soccer player.
