SL Green Realty Corp. announced that Edward V. Piccinich has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Executive Vice President of Operations and Construction.Over the course of 16 years at SL Green, Piccinich has expanded his role from oversight of construction, development, operations, and management of SL Green’s portfolio, to include human resources, sustainability, and information technology.
During Piccinich’s tenure, SL Green has increased operational efficiencies that improve quality and reduce costs.
He oversees the construction of One Vanderbilt, a 1.7 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art office tower currently being developed adjacent to Grand Central Terminal that will transform New York’s skyline and provide $220 million of public transit improvements.
After starting out in the construction sector, Piccinich went on to work for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and later JP Morgan. He joined SL Green in 2002.

Ariel Property Advisors announced the promotion of McNally S. Lee to Director in the Investment Sales Division, joining the firm’s Brooklyn team.
In addition to originating and executing exclusive sales listings in the borough, he is responsible for leading business development and networking initiatives, with a particular focus on the neighborhoods of Clinton Hill and Fort Greene.
Lee will report to Paul McCormick, Senior Vice President of Investment Sales and Capital Services. He will work with Sean R. Kelly Esq., Senior Director, to implement business transactions and further strengthen the company’s presence in Brooklyn.
Since joining Ariel Property Advisors as an Associate in May of 2017, Lee has participated in the marketing of exclusive listings, with an aggregate value exceeding $150 million.
Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years at Cushman & Wakefield’s Brooklyn office, where he was involved in the origination, underwriting, marketing and sale of over 60 properties valued at more than $800 million.
Lee holds a B.A. in Politics from Bates College, where he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team.

Diane Viggiano, MAI, AI-GRS, has joined Metropolitan Valuation Services, Inc., as senior vice president.
She joins MVS from New York Community Bancorp, Inc. where she served as vice president, senior commercial review appraiser, commercial loan division, for the previous three years.
Viggiano also served as a senior appraiser with Appraisal Consultant Corp. for 11 years, working with private and public-sector clients and specializing in appraisals for litigation and complex commercial valuation assignments.
Along with her significant appraisal experience, Viggiano is an adjunct instructor, New York University, Schack Institute of Real Estate, on the subject of real estate valuation modeling & feasibility analysis; an instructor for the Appraisal Institute and Appraisal Foundation; and is a qualified expert witness.
She holds a New York State and New Jersey Real Estate General Appraiser license; the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, having received numerous awards from the latter. She is also an AQB certified USPAP instructor.

Greysteel announced the expansion of the New York office with the addition of Investment Associate, Michael Sadowsky.
He will help expand Greysteel’s presence in New York with his geographic focus on Manhattan, where he will specialize in multifamily and mixed-use investment sales.
Additionally, he will advise private and institutional clients on the state of the Manhattan commercial real estate market; long and short-term investment planning options including analyzing the financial consequences of refinancing, selling outright or undertaking a 1031 Exchange; and performing a complete strategic
review of a client’s property or portfolio.
Prior to joining Greysteel, Sadowsky worked for Marcus & Millichap for five years where he focused on multifamily and mixed-use investment sales and financing within New York, most notably working on the sale of 1269 First Avenue for $17,750,000, 518 East 83rd Street for $6,500,00, and 1413 York Avenue for $7,500,000.

CBRE announced that it has named industry veteran Steve Gardner as Team Lead of its New Jersey Research department.
With 24 years of experience in both research and brokerage, Gardner will work to ensure that CBRE’s New Jersey brokers are equipped to take maximum advantage of the firm’s research platform.
Gardner will also focus on enhancing the firm’s thought leadership status in the New Jersey marketplace.
Over the last four years, Gardner has been a member of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions team, working as a senior manager on the Verizon account in Basking Ridge.
Previously, he worked in the research division of Trammell Crow Company, which has since been acquired by CBRE. Gardner’s other work in the New Jersey real estate market includes tenures with DTZ, JLL, and New Jersey-based developer J.G. Petrucci Company.
Gardner will work with Tri-State research manager Clint Ridgewell and director of research and analysis Nicole LaRusso.
He will oversee CBRE’s New Jersey-based research team, comprising eight full-time professional researchers.

AmTrust Title Insurance Company announced that Suzanne Berg, an title insurance expert with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the company and will be based in the New York City office.
Berg’s focus is to generate new agency relationships, to train and assist sales associates and to fortify business alliances with lenders, brokers and real estate attorneys.
Working with James Thanasules, Chief New York State Counsel and Senior Vice President, she adds value for agents by answering basic underwriting and procedural questions, providing business introductions and advising on the multitude of business issues agents regularly encounter.
Prior to joining AmTrust, Berg was President, NYCloser.com, which specialized in conducting closings representing title companies.
Before that, she served in senior positions with several title agencies, including Kensington Title Agency, Executive Vice President; Tribeca Title Insurance Agency, President and principal; Titleserv, Inc., Vice President of Sales,; and Landstar Title Agency, Inc., Vice President of Sales and title closer.
Berg earned a Paralegal degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.

Matt O’Rorke, Sales Associate, joined the Mount Laurel, NJ team. O’Rorke graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate.
He previously interned at TD Bank and with NAI Mertz in corporate services and industrial real estate. He is being mentored by Fred Meyer, SIOR, EVP and Director of Corporate and Brokerage Services for NAI Mertz.
