Prolific investment sales broker Larry Stryker has lost his battle with cancer.

The 56-year-old associate broker with Highcap Group died last week, according to his colleagues at the investment sales firm.

LARRY STRYKER

“It is with heartfelt sympathy that we mourn the untimely passing of our cherished colleague and friend, Larry Stryker,ˮ said company principals Josh Goldflam, Christen Portelli and Larry Ross in a statement.

Mr Stryker had been with Highcap since 2012 following stints at both Marcus & Millichap and Besen & Associates.

Considered a gentleman of the industry, he developed many loyal friendships during his career which saw him recently close on a slew of development deals across the city, including a 40-unit site on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and another on East 21st Street, also in Kings County.

Born in Russia, Mr Stryker was an avid skier and had a passion for music and travelling. He lived on the Upper West Side with his wife, Helena. “He was a true friend and professional and will be terribly missed,ˮ said his Highcap colleagues.
