The Urban Land Institute New York (ULI New York) hosted its Annual Holiday Party honoring Janette Sadik-Khan, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation.
Members and guests gathered to celebrate the season and Sadik-Khan’s influential contributions to the City of New York, consistent with ULI’s Building Healthy Places Initiative, which highlights projects and places that improve the health of people and communities.
During her tenure as Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation, which she will conclude on December 13, Sadik-Khan has spearheaded the development of 59 public plazas and New York City’s bike sharing system, Citi Bike, with over six million rides in less than six months.
