UJA-Federation of New York honored Michael Vickers of Vickers Realty, Ltd. at its annual Real Estate Executives (REX) Gala at The Pierre in New York City.
Last year’s honoree, Micah Goodman of Benefit Street Partners, presented Vickers with the Larry A. Silverstein REX Award, which was created to honor Silverstein’s legendary professional and philanthropic achievements. The award recognizes an exceptional young real estate professional who emulates Silverstein’s commitment to the real estate community and to improving the lives of others.
Among the 400 guests in attendance were REX Gala Chairs Gregory J. Kalikow of The Kalikow Group and Joe Koicim of Marcus & Millichap, REX Chair Laura B. Greenfield People’s United Bank, and REX Vice Chair Mitchell Moinian of The Moinian Group.
REX attracts young leaders from New York’s real estate, construction, hospitality, design, and related industries, including owners, developers, attorneys, financiers, and investment strategists, who come together to help people in need, build strong relationships with colleagues in the field, and explore issues that delve beyond the New York real estate community.
