Urban Arts Partnership (UAP), NYC’s largest and fastest growing arts education organization, has signed a new, 11,502 s/f lease for the entire 5th floor at 39 West 19th Street.
It will relocate this summer from 21 Howard Street, where it currently occupies 5,000 s/f.
Miyad Realty’s Michael Rouzenrouch represented UAP in the transaction. John D. Goodkind, director of leasing with Koeppel Rosen LLC, represented the 12-story, 128,657 s/flandmarked building, a long-time Rosen family asset.
Rouzenrouch has already placed and expanded existing tenant Left/Right, a television and film company, within the building.
According to Goodkind, 11,502 s/f on the 11th floor and 7,025 s/f on the fourth floor are now available for lease.
Said Goodkind, “It’s a pleasure to have a nonprofit of this caliber join the ranks of inspiring and creative firms within the Rosen portfolio.”
A lobby renovation is underway at the property. Kahn Architecture is redesigning the lobby and bring it back to its original Art Deco elegance.
