The 17-story, 225,000 s/f mixed-use building is located on West 46th Street in the heart of Manhattan’s Times Square neighborhood.

The announcement was made by Newmark Holdings co-CEOs Brian Steinwurtzel and Eric Gural. Alan Steinberg, senior managing director of Newmark Holdings, acted on behalf of the ownership.

Times Square Alliance renewed and expanded its lease for a total of 10,365 s/f at the building.

Founded in 1992, the Alliance works to improve and promote Times Square. In addition to providing core neighborhood services with its Public Safety Officers and Sanitation Associates, the Alliance promotes local businesses; encourages economic development and public improvements; co-ordinates major events in Times Square; and advocates on behalf of its constituents with respect to a host of public policy, planning and quality-of-life issues.

Jun Wang & Associates renewed its lease and added 2,627 s/f to its 1,894 s/f space for a total of 4,521 s/f on the 11th floor.

“We are delighted that such a significant nonprofit group and prominent legal firm have chosen to remain at 1560 Broadway,” said Steinwurtzel. “The commitment by the tenant speaks to our exceptional asset management skills, as we are continually looking to invest in each of our assets in order to provide our tenants with the best experience possible.”

These leases come on the heels of an art installation at the property by acclaimed artist and real estate broker Suzanne Sunshine.
