Newmark announced a new office lease for Galileo Health of the penthouse at 166 Crosby Street.
The penthouse space spans 11,511 s/f on the entire 12th floor of the building and includes a private roof deck (pictured top).
Newmark was the sole broker on the transaction with JD Cohen and Jarad M. Winter and representing the landlord, Renaissance Properties, while Josh Berg represented the tenant, Galileo Health.
Stephen Cisarik of Newmark’s San Francisco office also facilitated the relationship with the New York team.
“The penthouse is designed with high-end finishes making it a great new space for this innovative healthcare service provider,” said Cohen. “The oversized, glass-fronted offices, conference rooms, hardwood floors, exposed 14 ft. ceilings, and private rooftop access offers Galileo a bright, open-air environment.”
Winter added, “The penthouse also features the exposed original terra-cotta ceilings and skylights giving it excellent character – it is easily one of the most unique spaces in the market.”
Galileo is a digital-first medical service that offers individuals direct access to national clinical expertise. The firm uses mobile technology to improve medical care quality and affordability.
“We are pleased that Galileo Health has joined 166 Crosby’s prestigious Tenant roster along with Bain Capital, Bevel PR, Bold New York, Tumblr, Inverse Media, and the other influential organizations that have chosen to work at this address,” said Bradley Fishel of RPNY.
Built in 1897, 166 Crosby Street is a landmarked building located at the center of the NoHo neighborhood. The property, which is 12 stories tall, has over 159,000 s/f and includes two lobby entrances, one brand new entrance on Crosby Street, and one entering on Broadway.
