
Developer Joseph Sitt, CEO of Thor Equities, and Scott Rechler, vice chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority, have joined a high-powered panel set to examine Hurricane Sandy’s impact on the future of New York City’s real estate market.
With government and industry at a crossroads in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Gov. David Paterson will direct the panel of leading government officials and real estate principals in discussing the recovery process, planning for future disasters, and the expected impact on the real estate industry.

The forum is being hosted by accounting firm EisnerAmper and Real Estate Weekly and will take place on Thursday, December 13, from 8 to 10:15 a.m. at the NYC Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street.
