Simone Development Companies announced that CenterLight Healthcare, formerly Comprehensive Care Management, a managed care organization, has signed a long-term, 10,000 s/f lease for a new training center at 1733 Eastchester Road, a freestanding medical office building in the Bronx.
CenterLight joins DaVita Inc., a national provider of dialysis and other kidney care services, and Advanced Access Medical Care, a specialist in nephrology and hypertension, which recently leased 10,000 and 7,000 s/f, respectively, at the medical/office space that offers access to hospitals along the Bronx’s Medical Mile.
“CenterLight is one of the fastest growing long-term healthcare providers in the Greater New York area and is quickly becoming one of the largest tenants in the Simone portfolio, having recently expanded their presence at our Hutchinson Metro Center campus,” said Jim MacDonald, director of leasing for Simone Development Companies.
“We are thrilled to be able to accommodate CenterLight’s expansion with this additional 10,000 square feet at 1733 Eastchester Road for their new staff training center.”
Montefiore Medical Center previously occupied 1733 Eastchester Road, and will be consolidating into the brand new, custom built Tower 2 at Simone’s Hutchinson Metro Center, located nearby. Simone took the opportunity created by the impending availability to update the common areas of 1733 Eastchester Road before marketing the property.
