The Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association held its June luncheon at the University Club with Glenn Shannon, president of Shorenstein Properties, LLC, as its guest speaker. Shannon oversees the company’s 25.7 million square foot office and residential portfolio across the country, including numerous assets in New York City. He talked in detail about the company’s strategy across several markets where it has been re-positioning office buildings to appeal to TAMI tenants. He also talked in detail about the company’s recent acquisition of 1407 Broadway and their plans to renovate the lobby and create large blocks of space available for leasing.
