The Kaufman Organization announced that creative marketing and brand strategy agency, School House, has signed a 3,000 s/f, five-year lease to expand its footprint at 20 West 22nd Street in Flatiron.
The New York-based firm, which specializes in brand development for clients primarily in the beauty and retail industries, is expanding its operation as the company continues to grow.
The new space on the seventh floor is double the size of its former space on the fifth floor, which School House is now vacating, in the same building.
“From the beginning, we wanted to build a different kind of agency at School House, one grounded in honesty, creativity and partnership,” said Christopher Skinner, Founder and Principal of School House.

This new, larger space provides a comfortable, modern and flexible environment in which our growing team will feel right at home and one that allows us to effectively express our core brand identity.”
Founded in 2015, School House has near doubled in size, growing from three to now 18 team members. Some of the notable brands that the firm has worked with include Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, Tata Harper, Dr. Dennis Gross, AHAVA, L’Occitane and Estee Lauder, to name a few.
Elliot Warren of The Kaufman Organization represented the tenant in the transaction while Robert Finkelstein represented the landlord, ABS Partners Real Estate, in-house. Asking rent in the transaction was $65-per-square-foot. School House took occupancy within the last month.
