Recruitment firm Atlantic Group signs lease at 19 West 34th

The Atlantic Group, a recruitment consulting company that serves professionals across a variety of industries, has signed a long-term lease at 19 West 34th Street.

The firm will expand from 4,900  s/f at 8 West 38th  Street to a 10,537 s/f space on the eighth floor at the boutique office property owned by PRD Realty Corp. The asking rent in the building was $54-per-square-foot.

Elliot Zelinger of Savitt Partners represented The Atlantic Group in the transaction. This is the fourth major lease dealZelinger has done within the PRD Realty portfolio. Other well-known tenants include Freshplanet, Marathon Strategies, and Signature Systems.  PRD Realty was represented in-house by its principal, Scott Domansky.

“The Atlantic Group has been experiencing unprecedented growth and needed to find a flexible space to house its New York City operations,” said Zelinger. “19 West 34th Street offered everything the Atlantic Group was looking for – a central location, new lobby, and beautiful office.”

Founded in 2006, The Atlantic Group set out to change the way the recruiting industry does business. The firm differentiates itself from the rest of the industry by providing clients with targeted recruitment research, strong business ethics, and sharp industry expertise. The Atlantic Group also has offices in Philadelphia, PA and Stamford, CT.

“We have grown significantly over the last few years and needed a space large enough to fit our entire company on one floor,” noted Richard Scardina of The Atlantic Group.

“We are also close to mass transit, and that was an important factor for our new location. Elliot was able to help us find the perfect place to accommodate our continuing growth at 19 West 34th Street.”

Savitt Partners is a full-service commercial real estate company headquartered in New York City. Founded by Bob Savitt, the firm owns and/or operates a portfolio totaling over two million square feet of office and showroom buildings.
