Nordstrom, Inc. has leased the entire 15th floor of 205 West 39th Street for office use, announced Dana Moskowitz, president of EVO Real Estate Group, the property’s leasing and managing agent.
Nordstrom will move into the space, which contains 13,000 s/f, in June.
Mitchell Cooperstock of EVO represented the landlord in the lease negotiations, and Michael Leifer of Millennium Realty Group represented the tenant. “Nordstrom was attracted to the convenient Garment District location, as well as the solid roster of tenants in the building,” said Cooperstock.
“Additionally, the flexible floor plan worked well for Nordstrom’s layout.”
Nordstrom wil open its first full-line New York City location at the base of Extell’s luxury One57 at 217 57th Street.
Nordstrom has grown from a single Seattle shoe store that opened in 1901 to a national retailer.
