New York Life Real Estate Investors, on behalf of New York Life Insurance Company, announced today the financing of The Lanthian Apartments, a 209 unit high-rise apartment building owned by Greystar.

The property located at 377 East 33rd Street recently underwent a renovation that upgraded unit interiors, common areas and building amenities to a luxury standard. Apartments are available in sizes from studios to four-bedroom units.

“We are pleased to originate another loan and expand our relationship with Verbena Road Holdings,” said Keith Duane, Director in New York Life Real Estate Investors’ Northeast Regional Office. “The asset is in a prime location set to benefit from the nearby growth and commitment of the NYU Langone Medical Center and the development of the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences.
