New Empire files plans for residential tower in Hell’s Kitchen

Brooklyn developer New Empire Real Estate Development has filed plans to build a seven-story residential building at 424 West 52nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen.

According to a permit application filed with the Department of Buildings, the proposed tower will have seven apartments units. The project will come to 10,533 s/f, with apartments averaging 1,505 s/f.

The property changed hands last February. New Empire, under the LLC 424West52 Enterprises, bought the property for $4.7 million, according to property records. The previous owner was GAIA 424 West 52nd Street LLC.

Building Consulting Engineering filed the application. The proposed building will sit on a 25-foot wide, 2,511 s/f lot.
