Medical marijuana company to open two more NY clinics

Valley Agriceuticals, one of 10 companies licensed to sell medical marijuana in New York, is opening two more locations.

Katz & Associates’ Donny Moskovic, who serves as the owner’s representative for the Remedy stores owned by Valley Agriceuticals, brokered store leases in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Huntington, Long Island.

This marks the fourth deal that Moskovic has completed on behalf of Valley with a combined term of 50 years.

In Williamsburg, Moskovic secured a location for a Remedy dispensary at 178 North 4th Street at the base of the Pod Hotel on the corner of Driggs Street.

Ike Bibi of RFK, a Newmark Company, represented the landlord. Corey Gluckstal and John Abbate of Five Point Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease in Huntington across from the Walt Whitman Shops.

Valley Agriceuticals, a medical manufacturer and distributor, is among ten state-licensed organizations participating in New York’s medical cannabis program. These companies produce, sell and distribute medical marijuana.

Medical marijuana became legal in New York in 2016 and there are about 24 active dispensaries in the state. “The highly regulated process isn’t easy and it’s no doubt these deals have been the most complex but most satisfying transactions I have competed in my 25-year tenure,” said Moskovic.

“Cannabis is a game changer for the real estate industry and I am humbled to be a contributor.”
