Law firm inks downtown renewal at 33 Whitehall

Savills Studley announced the completion of a lease renewal for Russo & Toner, LLP, at 33 Whitehall Street in Lower Manhattan.

Russo & Toner, LLP, is a civil litigation firm that defends corporations and individuals across a wide spectrum of civil liability and insurance matters.

Savills Studley’s Vice Chairman Marc Shapses, Senior Managing Director Roi Shleifer and Assistant Director Seth Wasserman represented the law firm in a 10-year lease to stay on the 16th floor of 33 Whitehall Street.

Shapses said “We explored several occupancy alternatives before determining the best option was to stay in place. The landlord is contributing to update and modernize the office to bring it to today’s law office standards and efficiencies. The new transaction provides Russo & Toner, LLP, the flexibility for future growth without incurring any additional costs.”

The landlord Stawski Partners was represented by CBRE’s Edward Goldman and Jonathan Cope.
