Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates were tapped as exclusive leasing and marketing agents for the former House of Vans outpost at 11-25 Franklin Street in Brooklyn.
The Greenpoint location offers 25,000 s/f of interior space and 10,000 s/f of rear yard space with 30-feet ceilings. House of Vans occupied the 140 by 147-foot space since 2010 and used the large warehouse space as part skate park, part music venue, part art gallery, and part retail.
The iconic skateboard footwear brand shut down its Brooklyn location in September 2018, saying they’d focus on opening more House of Vans in other locations and pop-ups worldwide. There are currently two permanent locations in Chicago and London with a new pop-up set to open in Detroit in January 2019.
But the large property will be marketed as a choice location in Brooklyn for young, creative companies. KDA’s Robert Klein is the broker managing the listing.
“The property meets and well exceeds the needs of today’s creative tenants, innovative tech companies and manufacturers that are the engine of New York’s economy,” Klein said. “The property is sure to be a destination address for businesses from throughout the region and beyond.”
