Icahn School of Medicine moves to Tribeca

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai has signed a long-term lease to operate an Executive Health and Wellness Center on a portion of the 5th floor comprising 14,607 s/f of space at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 255 Greenwich Street in Tribeca.

Mt. Sinai expects the center to begin operations at the 14-story, 600,000 s/f office tower later this year.

Dennis Brady and Brett S. Greenberg of Jack Resnick & Sons represented the building owner in the 15-year leasing transaction, while Jonathan Serko and Frank Cento of Cushman & Wakefield represented Mt. Sinai.

According to Greenberg, asking office rents at 255 Greenwich Street are $60 psf and the firm is currently marketing 20,000 s/f on the building’s 5th floor.

Current tenants in the building include RR Donnelley & Sons, the City of New York, Tradition North America and the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

“We are delighted that one of the city’s most respected institutions has chosen lower Manhattan, and in particular, 255 Greenwich Street, for this facility,” stated Jonathan Resnick, president of Jack Resnick & Sons.
