A TEAM from TOWN Residential’s Upper East Side office joined Cassidy’s Place, an extension of the Association to Benefit Children, for a 4th Annual Planting Day.
Cassidy’s Place is a pre-school for children who live in poverty and suffer from disabilities, medical conditions and have special needs.
On Planting Day, students and TOWN volunteers spent the day planting flowers and shrubs and playing in the school’s playground.
The event was one of a series of year-round events TOWN takes part in.
“Since the beginning, TOWN has been committed to our community and philanthropic endeavors and organizations. DGS’s Deborah Hauser and Abby Sheeline, board members of Save the Children LI Council, co-chaired the benefit with help from a team of volunteers.
The event raised close to $250,000 through live and silent auction items. Guests were entertained throughout the evening by local bands Sands Point and Run 4 Covers.
