Some of the nation’s most celebrated interior designers and architects will participate in this year’s 44th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House.
Hosted by the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, the show house will be at The Carlton House Townhouse at 19 East 61st Street in Lenox Hill.
Each designer will spend the next eight weeks transforming a distinct space in The Carlton, a 68-unit luxury building with 10,000 s/f raw space and 5,000 s/f of outdoor space for them to work with.
An estimated 15,000 people are expected to tour the Show House which serves as the non-profit organization’s premier annual fundraiser.
The House will be open to the public seven days a week, May 12 through June 9.
The 21 designers and architects participating in this year’s Decorator Show House include Alex Papachristidis Interiors, Eve Robinson Associates, Harry Heissmann Inc., Kati Curtis, Phillip Thomas Inc. and Victoria Hagan Interiors.

The Centurion, the I.M. Pei designed condominium, just announced the opportunity for a perspective buyer to combine two 16th floor penthouses into a one-of-a-kind, customizable, full floor penthouse.
The $9.6 million dollar combination penthouse would create a 3,338 s/f residence.
The Centurion recently sold a similar penthouse for $14 million, which at the time was the building’s only full floor residence.
Dee Urbanski, assistant sales director at The Centurion, said the penthouse would feature a private elevator landing, five south-facing terraces and comes with the option to be designed by the buildings original architect, Pei Partnership Architects.

RAPPER, actor and entrepreneur Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy, has dropped the price of his New Jersey mansion to $7.89 million.
Combs bought the 3.25 acre estate in Alpine, New Jersey for $6 million in 2004.
Built in 1999, the 8,000 s/f home has six bedrooms, 6-baths, a foyer, double staircase and several formal rooms.
The basement has its own kitchen, wet bar, home theater, aquarium and another bedroom with full bath. There is also an indoor basketballcourt and gym.
Outside, the swimming pool has a waterfall, and the landscaped ground are punctuated by a putting green, tennis court and six-car garage.
The house is listed with Prominent Properties, Sotheby’s.
