Have You Heard? Fergie stays at Sky, Philanthropists’ duplex asking $15M

The luxury duplex owned by the late philanthropists Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen has been co-listed by Claire Groome, of Warburg, and Barbara Evans-Butler and William Vitiello, of Stribling, at $14,995,000.

784 Park Avenue is a 14-room pre-war duplex with views of Central Park. The living accommodations are spread across the 16th floor and include the living room, library, eat-in kitchen, dining area, conservatory and balcony.

Take the staircase or elevator upstairs to the bedroom wing, with its five rooms, 5-baths, maid’s quarters, kitchenette, laundry and balcony.

Stephen M. Kellen was a German-born investment banker who supported the arts and education.

He and his wife Anna-Maria founded the American Academy in Berlin for visiting scholars and together they supported the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Pierpont Morgan Library, the Frick Collection, Lincoln Center and the New School University.

Newly-single pop diva Fergie gave her celebrity seal of approval to the Moinian Group’s Sky rental tower during a recent 10-day trip to The Big Apple.

The singer has been promoting her new album Double Dutchess with a series of shows and interviews across the northeast.

She stayed at Sky, the largest rental building in the country, designed by David Rockwell, while she took care of business in Manhattan, posting an image of her two-bedroom corner unit on Instagram.

The luxury 42nd Street building is home to basketball stars Kristaps Porzingis, Enes Kanter and Carmelo Anthony, who also designed the Sky basketball court and still maintains a home in the building.

Manhattan View hosted a penthouse yoga session with Ryan Serhant and his wife Emilia Bechrakis, a self-confessed gym rat who works out at The Dogpound.

Serhant and his team are working with the sales team at Manhattan View at MiMA to sell the Tower Residences.
