Gotham adds Corner Bistro to market menu

Gotham Organization announced that Corner Bistro, a casual dining restaurant with current locations in the West Village and Long Island City, will be opening its third permanent location at Gotham West Market this Summer.

Since the debut opening of its original West Village location in 1961, Corner Bistro has been a popular destination for celebrities, tourists and locals alike.

Corner Bistro opened another permanent location in Long Island City in 2011, offering an extended menu for visitors. It’s latest location at Gotham West Market will feature a full menu, including signature burger options and kid-friendly items.

“Gotham West Market is the perfect destination for us to expand the Corner Bistro brand, and we look forward to bringing our menu of authentic American comfort food to Midtown,” said Elizabeth McGrath, owner of Corner Bistro.Founded in 2013, Gotham West Market is a 10,000 s/f food hall with some of New York City’s top food vendors including Seamore’s, a local, sustainable seafood restaurant chain, and Ample Hills, Zagat’s #1 rated ice cream shop in New York City.

Phil Lavoie, COO of Gotham Organization, said, “Having such an incredible restaurant join our current roster of vendors is truly exciting, and we believe the new location will be a hit.”
