Feil welcomes trio of new tenants to 570 Lexington

Three professional services companies have signed full-floor leases totaling 12,785 s/f at 570 Lexington Avenue, announced The Feil Organization, the building’s owner/manager.

All three new tenants have signed leases for the tower floors of the landmark building.

R&G Brenner Income Tax Centers has signed for 4,344 s/f, comprising the entire 29th floor; Fifth Avenue Strategies will be located on the 33rd floor; and Mukasey Frenchman has moved into the 35th floor of the building.

“Professional services firms clearly remain committed to office space in New York City and the legendary 570 Lexington provides an exceptional opportunity,” said David Turino, Feil Director of Commercial Leasing, “Being on your own floor has its advantages during the pandemic, and the classic Art Deco architecture and stunning tower views add tremendously to the building’s appeal.”

R&G operates income tax preparation centers, and as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic is refocusing its business on enterprise tax planning and advisory services.

Fifth Avenue Strategies is a private equity firm led by Richard Ravitch. Ravitch, a businessman and chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from 1979 to 1983, also served as the lieutenant governor of New York State from 2009 to 2010.

Law firm Mukasey Frenchman LLP represents leading executives, financial services clients, notable personalities in sports, business, media and politics.

“These are extraordinary tenants who required a unique building for their new home,” said Timothy D. Parlante, Director of Leasing for Feil. “570 Lexington fits that bill perfectly.”

Widely considered an architectural masterpiece, the landmarked 570 Lexington Avenue (once called the RCA Victor Building), balances Art Deco and classic New York style, and boasts a flamboyant crown of Gothic spires. Built in 1932, the building also features an elegant pink marble lobby and silver leaf vaulted ceiling.

Located on Lexington Avenue and 51st Street in the prestigious Park Avenue corporate corridor, 570 Lexington is adjacent to Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church and is near Grand Central Terminal, world-famous hotels and restaurants, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center, among other New York landmarks.

David Turino represented Feil in-house, while Lance Leighton of Savills represented R&G Brenner Income Tax Centers in the 64-month lease. Brian Palumbo of Feil Organization provided legal counsel in-house; David R. Marshall, Esq. of Marshall & Associates PLLC represented R&G. Charles Borrok and Troy Elias of Cushman & Wakefield represented Fifth Avenue Strategies in the lease; Leslie Keidan of Cresa represented Mukasey Frenchman. Turino and Timothy D. Parlante, Director of Leasing, represented Feil in house in all three transactions.
