Engel Burman opens assisted living community

The Engel Burman Group (EBG) officially opened The Bristal at Jericho, the 17th community of The Bristal in EBG’s assisted living portfolio.

Located at 310 Jericho Turnpike, the 200,000 s/f, three-story residence sits on nine acres and offers 180 apartments. They include 144 assisted living units and 36 memory care apartments located in the Reflections area, dedicated to providing care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

“We are dedicated to meeting the growing demand for senior/assisted living residences on Long Island, which has a higher share
of adults over 55 than any other suburban community in New York,” said Jan Burman, president, EBG.

Currently occupied by more than 50 residents, in studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, rental rates at The Bristal at Jericho, including hospitality services, start at $6,500.
