Two Trees Management Company announced that DUMBO’s first full-sized supermarket, DUMBO Market, will be coming to 66 Front Street in early 2018.
The 16,000 s/f gourmet store, located at Front Street between Washington Street and Main Street, will give local residents access to a store owned and operated by the family that brought the Brooklyn Harvest Market to the Williamsburg waterfront.
“As a family-owned business ourselves, Two Trees is committed to supporting local Brooklyn retail in DUMBO. Supermarkets are often anchors for communities, and DUMBO Market will be an incredible amenity for the thousands of residents and office workers in our vibrant mixed-use neighborhood,” said Jed Walentas, CEO of Two Trees Management Company.
Jason Gerbsman, managing principal at Hudson, represented DUMBO Market in the transaction alongside Bonnie Campbell working with Two Trees Management in-house.
“I am proud to be a part of such a monumental deal and have the opportunity to bring a true amenity to DUMBO, its residents, patrons, and local daytime crowd,” said Gerbsman. “This is no doubt going to be one of the most exciting gourmet specialty stores in all of New York City. I have been working with Two Trees for over a decade and they are true professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with.”
