CRE’s biggest diversity event set to take place next week

Don Peebles, CEO Peebles Corporation and one of the most successful CRE entrepreneurs in the nation will keynote the Diversity in Commercial Real Estate (DCRE) summit being held next week.

The industry’s largest diversity event will take the form of a virtual all-day summit with Peebles headlining a program that includes debt and equity maven Tammy K. Jones, developer H. Jerome Russell and housing finance expert Buwa Binitie

“The world is now quickly adjusting to unprecedented new realities brought on by a global pandemic and widespread social unrest,” said Adeola Adejobi, founder and CEO of Avant-Garde Network, which organizes the summit.

“The commercial real estate industry is finally acknowledging the need for diversity in the industry and the impact on the built environment for communities of color. For years, diverse CRE leaders led the charge, but now there is no way around it with the reshaping of the CRE industry and future demands.”

During the Diversity in Commercial Real Estate Virtual Summit participants will hear the stories of some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals and get insight into how they strategize to help communities of color succeed in real estate, investment, technology and brokerage.

The all-day event will run from 10AM-4PM on Saturday, November 14. For information, visit
