Consulting firm takes full floor at Worldwide Plaza

825 EIGHTH AVENUE A.K.A. WORLDWIDE PLAZA

SL Green Realty Corp. has inked a lease for close to 42,000 s/f with West Monroe Partners, a management and technology consulting firm, at 825 Eighth Avenue, better known as Worldwide Plaza. The lease term is 10 years and the company will occupy 41,715 s/f across the entire 17th floor.

“We’re pleased to welcome West Monroe Partners to Worldwide Plaza, an architectural gem with premier amenities,” said Steven Durels, Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing and Real Property for SL Green. “Tenants enjoy convenient access to public transportation and some of the best nearby retail, dining and entertainment New York City has to offer.”

West Monroe Partners was represented by Paul Walker and Conner Kerr of CBRE, while the landlord was represented in-house by SL Green Realty Corp.

Occupying the entire block bounded by Eighth and Ninth Avenues between West 49th and 50th Streets, Worldwide Plaza features a pyramid shaped crown, 20,000-35,000-s/f, column-free floor plates, 13-foot ceilings and 360-degree views. There’s also an outdoor plaza and parking,

Other notable office tenants include WNET, CBS Broadcasting, Rubenstein Associates, Nomura Holdings, and M. Shanken Communications.
