The popular casual restaurant chain Chipotle will open its newest restaurant in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, at 463 86th Street, Thor Equities announced.
Diana Boutross of Winick repped Chipotle in a lease for the 2,000 s/f building in the highly trafficked neighborhood.
The building has 20 ft. of direct frontage on the street where Thor executive vice president Melissa Gliatta says there is big demand for restaurants.
“We are thrilled to bring Chipotle to Bay Ridge,” said Gliatta. “There is a seemingly endless demand for the restaurant’s high quality and delicious menu options and we are confident that Chipotle will continue its success at its newest Brooklyn location.”
Located next door to Century 21 and TJ Maxx, Thor bought the building at auction in 2012 for $2.82 million.
The company has a large portfolio of Brooklyn properties in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Red Hook and Coney Island. In 2012, Thor broke group on a 200,000 s/f big box development on Shore Parkway in Red Hook.
