Greenstone Realty, the exclusive leasing agent for Rivertowns Square in Westchester County, has finalized a lease with Brooklyn Market of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Market has filed for building permits and plans to open a new 18,000 s/f store by the end of 2017.
Brooklyn Market is a full-service purveyor of high-quality meats, seafood, prepared foods and produce in addition to groceries. It was a pioneer in Williamsburg and has built a reputation for fresh foods, produce and stellar customer service.

The market will feature full butcher, seafood and gourmet counters with specialties from their Brooklyn and on-premises kitchens.
“We had the opportunity to choose from several supermarkets and gourmet food stores to join the other great tenants at Rivertowns Square, but we chose Brooklyn Market because they consistently demonstrated their ability to deliver quality at every turn and provide customers with incredible service in all of their eight locations,” said Martin Berger, Managing Member of Saber Dobbs Ferry and the center’s owner/developer.
“Yes, there are other markets that have produce and products almost as fresh as Brooklyn Market, but none with the level of service the founders of Brooklyn Market demand.”
Rivertowns Square is a new mixed-use development at the Lawrence Street exit of the Saw Mill River Parkway. It serves the Rivertowns situated on the New York side of the Hudson River, and caters to the entire western-half of Westchester County. Rivertowns Square is 85 percent leased.
“With the growth of e-commerce, Rivertowns Square is exactly what retail shopping centers will try to be in the future – driven by great food, great entertainment and great hospitality. We have the perfect anchors with iPic Cinema and their City Perch restaurant, Hilton’s Garden Inn hotel – and now the incredible Brooklyn Market,” said Robert Greenstone, Chairman of Greenstone Realty, leasing agent for Rivertowns Square.
