Breather to open two new meeting spaces at 875 Washington

Thor Equities  has leased 3,707 square feet on the second floor of 875 Washington Street in the Meatpacking District to Breather.

Ramsey Feher of CBRE represented Breather, and Adam Rappaport of Thor Equities represented the landlord (Thor and ASB).

The on-demand meeting space provider signed a long-term lease with plans to open two Breather spaces at 875 Washington.  The company has nearly 150 spaces across the city, along with a roster of high-profile clients who use the spaces for meetings and team off-sites.

“Breather chose the ideal property for its newest location in the Meatpacking District, which is continuing to grow in popularity as a premier area for companies operating in technology and related businesses in New York,” said  Rappaport, Vice President of Office Leasing at Thor Equities.

875 Washington Street is a five-story office and retail building located near High Line Park, The Standard hotel, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.  The property features office space on the top four floors, with prime retail on the ground and lower levels.

“New York has remained our most active market globally, and it’s one where we’re focused on targeting larger, multi-use spaces in buildings that grab the attention of today’s top companies,” said Hank Jonap, Head of Real Estate at Breather. “Thor Equities has been an excellent partner for us. We look forward to continuing that relationship and creating a meeting room amenity for the tenants at 875 Washington and the surrounding community.”
