BOMA launches membership drive

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater New York (BOMA New York) has launched a drive to recruit new members.

“BOMA New York is committed to promoting programs and services, while serving as a resource, for the advancement of the real estate industry. We are excited to announce that BOMA-NY is holding a 15 for 12 month membership campaign,” said BOMA New York President James R. Kleeman.

Individuals who join under the “15 for 12” initiative will remain active members from October 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018. To be considered for those membership rates, potential members must apply by September 29, 2017.

Next month, BOMA New York will host a celebration to commemorate its 50th anniversary at The Mandarin Oriental, located at 80 Columbus Circle.

“Since BOMA New York’s founding in 1967, we have represented commercial property owners, managers and professionals in the Greater New York City region – the largest industry in the market area, generating approximately $1.5 billion in annual tax revenue,” said Kleeman.

“It’s a true honor to celebrate 50 years in the Empire State. I am proud of all BOMA New York has accomplished and excited for our future efforts.”

BOMA New York is part of BOMA International, which represents 91 local associations throughout the United States and 16 affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, the Philippines, Russia, South Africa and the UK.
