Wine time in NoMad as Wilson Daniels doubles footprint

Wine wholesaler Wilson Daniels has doubled is presence at Kaufman’s 19 West 24th Street in NoMad.

The luxury wine importer will now occupy 10,836 s/f across the entire sixth and seventh floors of the building that Kaufman brought back to life as a contemporary hub for a roster of tenants that includes fintech firm Transfer Wise, investment bank Pursuit Advisory, men’s luxury custom clothing line Knot Standard and Italian restaurant Trattoria Italienne.

Wilson Daniels is a 40-year-old family-owned marketing and sales company that represents a portfolio of the world’s most distinctive wines and spirits. Kaufman’s Grant Greenspan, along with Elliot Warren and Michael Heaner, represented both the tenant and the landlord in the seven-year lease with asking rents at $75 psf.

“Wilson Daniels is a prime example of the type of sophisticated and unique tenants that our dynamic Madison Square Portfolio attracts and retains,” said Greenspan, Principal of Kaufman. “Wilson Daniels’ choice to expand at 19W24 is a testament to the portfolio’s leadership in providing turnkey, flexible, loft-style spaces that position growing firms in the center of one of Manhattan’s most trendy and design-forward neighborhoods.”

After purchasing the building as part of what would become its Madison Square Portfolio in 2014, Kaufman spent several millions repositioning 19W24 to appeal to the city’s most creative, tech and new media tenants.

The building now meets the technology, broadband and security needs of its tenants and upgraded interiors have a modern, open vide. The firm also teamed up with Design Republic to create a custom lobby and elevators with graffiti art.
