Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty announced the promotion of Abby Sheeline to Senior Director of Marketing.
When Sheeline joined Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty as a marketing coordinator in late 2005, the organization had ten offices along the North Shore of Long Island. Today there are 28 offices that span Long Island from Queens to the East End.
Sheeline was among the team that pioneered social media in the company, setting up Facebook, LinkedIn and later Instagram. She also became immersed in video and other digital marketing and advertising platforms.
A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in film, Sheeline began her career in film industry management, forming her own talent management company that helped to develop the careers of film industry personnel and manage intellectual property through negotiation of contracts with major studios, cable and other entertainment companies, independent producers and the networks.
She returned to her native Long Island in 2003, applying her skills as director of an art gallery in Oyster Bay.
An artist in her own right, Sheeline is a well-regarded photographer, with a specialty of photographing children.

Bohemia Realty Group has welcomed Michael Arnone as Director of Marketing.
Arnone will oversee all marketing and communications initiatives for Bohemia’s Harlem and Washington Heights office.
In addition to providing collateral and marketing strategies for the firm’s 133 agents and brokers, he will work directly on campaigns with Bohemia’s new development division, BRGDM.
Prior to joining Bohemia Realty Group, Arnone worked on the marketing team and as an agent at Nest Seekers. Before that, he was the co-founder and CEO of Bounce Media Group, a company specializing in event production, brand activation, and talent management.
Arnone graduated from the College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Management.

Based out of the Houlihan’s headquarters in Rye Brook, NY, agents Alan Zuckerman, Richard Tannenbaum and Kim Galton bring 60 years of combined experience to the seven-year-old division’s varied commercial specialized services.
Each are handling investment opportunities, office condominiums and leasing, industrial and retail sales and leasing, land acquisition and development and municipal approval consultation at the firm, recipient of the Co-Star Power Broker Award as a top sales firm for the Westchester/Southern Connecticut markets.
Alan Zuckerman comes to Houlihan Lawrence with more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, both as a Realtor and developer in the mid-Hudson Valley, Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey areas.
His experience with retail tenant representation includes JPM Chase, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Key Bank, Noodles, Great Expressions Dental Centers and Beacon Roofing Supplies.
In 2003, Richard Tannenbaum began working in real estate development and management with a focus on grocery-anchored shopping centers and office buildings in secondary and tertiary markets.
At Houlihan Lawrence, he is now specializing in commercial leasing and sales, with an emphasis on retail, restaurant and office properties in Rockland and Westchester counties and the Hudson Valley.
Kim Galton comes from a successful career in the retail industry where she held positions as the general manager for Lord & Taylor, as well as senior management positions at Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Anne Klein.
As the team’s retail director, Galton brings knowledge of store openings and renovations, operational expertise, and branding and development.
She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is licensed in both New York and Connecticut.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that it has added increased senior level responsibilities for Todd Bourgard and Melody Newberry.
Bourgard will assume the role of Regional Executive Manager of Sales and Newberry will be named the Regional Vice President of Marketing and Operations.
Todd Bourgard, a licensed real estate broker, will assume the management of Douglas Elliman Hamptons, overseeing sales strategy and agent-directed support and mentorship. He will continue to manage the day to day operations of the regions Western offices in Hampton Bays, Westhampton Beach and Quogue.
A seasoned leader, Melody Newberry currently holds the title of Senior Director of Marketing for the Hamptons region.
Her newly expanded role will include her current responsibilities overseeing all East End agent and corporate marketing initiatives, plus direct administrative support for all of the region’s nine offices, community initiatives, regional events, talent recruitment and agent budgets.

New York Realtor Max Gurvitch was presented with the Federal Political Coordinator Meritorious Service Award by the National Association of Realtors(NAR).
A past president of the New York State Association of Realtors, Gurvitch has served as the Federal Political Coordinator for over 20 years and has a long-standing relationship with Senator Chuck Schumer since he served in the House of Representatives almost 40 years ago.
Gurvitch has kept Senator Schumer and Congressman Jarrold Nadler informed and educated on Realtor priorities.
Gurvitch, chair of the 2019 NAR Legal Action Committee, is also an active member of the Brooklyn Board of Realtors and four-time past president of the organization.
He manages Brooklyn-based Gurvitch Realtors catering to investors and investment groups.
