Keller Williams agents helped raise over $7,000 for local non profits as part of the company’s annual Red Day.
Every year Keller Williams offices around the world dedicate a day called Red Day to make an impact in the community by donating time and raising money for charity.
This year, local agents assembled care packages for the Fortune Society, took part in a Walkathon on to benefit The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and partnered with Music on the Inside to host a night of live jazz in the TriBeCa office to benefit MOTI.
Founded by Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Alina Bloomgarden, MOTI brings jazz education to young inmates at the Queens Correctional Facility and Rikers Island.
The Antoinette Montague Experience performed at the Tribeca event with Antoinette Montague singing, Danny Mixon on piano, Melissa Slocum on bass, Benny Rubin Jr. (pictured top) on saxophone and Malik Washington on drums. AC Lincoln, son of jazz legends Marion Cowings and Abbey Lincoln, also performed a tap dance routine.
The event also featured singer Judy Gray, a board member of MOTI and former vocal teacher at LaGuardia HS.

The Hudson Gateway Realtors Foundation, the charitable arm of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, is accepting applications for funding from nonprofit organizations in Manhattan and the Bronx.
“We are thrilled to broaden our scope of giving to our nonprofit neighbors in Manhattan and the Bronx,” said Richard Haggerty, chief executive officer of the HAGAR.

The Foundation was created in 2003 to fund qualified community-based charities that serve the housing, hunger, health, happiness, and humane needs of citizens everywhere.
In 2018, the organization donated more than $81,000 to 26 charities.
