Who’s News: Hires in residential real estate

Reuveni Real Estate has announced six team additions: Patricia Parker, head of sales; Laura Kosik, on-site sales associate; Andrew Singer, data analyst; Haley Schult, project associate; and Luis Peguero and Katie Tejada, on-site project coordinators.

Patricia Parker will direct sales activities for upcoming projects and oversee on-site staff. A former executive at Extell Development, Parker brings over 25 years of sales and client liaison experience to her current position. At Extell, Parker functioned as head of sales for One Manhattan Square, responsible for introducing it to the broker community, raising the project’s visibility and creating a buzz for Extell’s largest property to date. She also was the head of sales for One57, one of the premier properties in midtown Manhattan.

Laura Kosik will be responsible for the marketing and sales of upcoming projects, driving outreach, managing traffic and completing lead follow-up to facilitate the sales of all available units. Kosik brings a successful track record of marketing luxury residential rentals in ground up, existing developments and pre-war building environments.
She was previously leasing director residential for The Durst Organization, where she assisted the vice president in overseeing a 6,000-unit portfolio of luxury rental product with a total rent roll of $200 million annually. Kosik is a licensed real estate broker.

Haley Schult will closely collaborate with all involved in a project, including the developer client, marketing, sales, public relations, and operation teams, to ensure effective project management. She will also work side-by-side with marketing for new residential condominium development marketing and sales campaigns.
Schult brings years of experience at Ralph Lauren and public relations firms to her role as project associate for Reuveni.

Andrew Singer will perform market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyze macroeconomic and microeconomic trends across a variety of property types, and work with the director of new development to create customer-tailored research reports for current and prospective clients.
Singer was previously an analyst for Signature Realty NJ.

Peguero and Tejada will provide administrative support to the sales director and sales associates for upcoming new development projects, perform data entry and calendar management, and interact with the brokerage community and direct buyers as the first line of communication.

Luis Peguero was previously a licensed real estate salesperson for Bond New York, where he provided property tours to prospective tenants, cold called clients to obtain listings and educated clients on the current real estate market. He is a student at Baruch College/CUNY Zicklin School of Business, where he expects to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate in May 2020.

Katie Tejada was previously senior sales representative for Bowlero Corporation, where she converted event inquiries into booked events, consistently met or exceeded her monthly sales goal and helped the director of sales prepare for trade shows and promotional events.


Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty has announced that Brian Murray will assume the role of brokerage manager for the firm’s brokerage in Scarsdale.

Murray brings nearly 15 years of real estate and sales experience to the position including expertise in luxury marketing gained from his years with Houlihan Lawrence.

Murray recently served as brokerage manager with Houlihan Lawrence in Chappaqua, where he managed, mentored and developed a team of 60 agents. He first entered the real estate industry as an agent in 2006, initially participating in field sales at a development represented by the firm’s Project Marketing Division.

Murray grew up in and around real estate. He is a member of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR), Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service (HGMLS), New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Associate real estate broker Christa Chi of Elegran was awarded StreetEasy’s New Yorkers’ Choice award at its second annual Essys Awards ceremony on October 23.

The Essys Awards honor NYC’s best real estate agents. By analyzing StreetEasy data and reviewing first-person testimonials, winners are determined by the quality and consistency of their work. Out of hundreds of applicants and nominees, Chi was one of six elite agents to take home an Essys award this year.

Chi began her real estate career at Elegran in 2016 after seven years working in financial services for Goldman Sachs, BlackRock and Bridgewater Associates. Her client, Anjlee Joshi nominated Chi for the award after closing on a one-bedroom apartment with a home office on the Upper West Side.

PLI Realty, a boutique firm in Scarsdale, has announced that sales agent Josephine LaPietra is joining its team.
LaPietra has more than 24 years of experience in real estate and over $100 million in sales. She is known for her marketing strategies and sharp attention to detail, giving her buyers and sellers an edge.

Compass has announced that the Cee Scott Brown + Jack Pearson Team has joined the firm’s Hamptons division. Brown and Pearson, who have nearly 45 years of real estate experience between them, are moving to Compass with fellow team member Jeremy Dunham. All three team members were previously with Corcoran where they have been ranked the #1 team in the Hamptons since 2007. Their success is marked by over $500 million in sales.

Jeremy Dunham has become an integral part of the team over the last several years and is the exclusive rental agent for the Watchcase. A former tennis pro and coach, he is a talented networker and manages the day-to-day business of the team.

Prior to real estate, Jack Pearson was a senior executive in fashion retail which included senior roles with Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Scott Brown previously held a curatorial assistant position at MoMA, was executive director of the arts organization Creative Time, as well as director of the Art Matters Foundation where he still serves as trustee.

Keller Williams NYC has announced that Olesia Guts has joined the firm as an agent.
Guts specializes in Upper Manhattan. She will also be a part of the Corradini Team. Over the past two years working in New York City real estate, Guts assisted more than 300 people find their dream home. Originally from Ukraine, Olesia speaks fluent English, French, Russian, and Ukrainian.  She is also a former professional chef in Michelin star restaurants.
