HAP Investments LLC announced that Consuelo Vasquez has joined as Assistant General Counsel for Litigation.
Vasquez has been a commercial litigator specializing in construction litigation for nearly 20 years.
to joining HAP, she was a Senior Attorney in the Construction Group in the New York Office of Pepper Hamilton LLP, was an associate with the construction litigation group at Mazur, Carp & Rubin, P.C., and clerked for the Hon. Joseph W. Bellacosa at the New York Court of Appeals.
Vasquez received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she published a Note and was an Editor for the Journal of Legal Commentary. She received her B.A. from Fordham University.

Colliers International has announced the additions of Joshua Goldsmith as Director, Zachary Cilman as Associate Director, and Yosef Apple and Robert Ptacek as Associates to its New York City operations.
Joshua Goldsmith will focus on brokerage services, primarily representing tenants, advising a wide range of companies, from technology start-ups to multinational firms, including corporate, financial, legal, telecommunications, and technology, on developing and executing real estate strategies.
Previously he served at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was involved in approximately one million square feet of transactions representing both tenants and landlords.
Prior to becoming a real estate professional, Goldsmith worked in the technology industry. He holds a B.A. in Business and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
Zachary Cilman will focus on brokerage services, with a specialization in representing and advising investors and occupiers.
He has a strong background in new business development, strategy implementation, marketing, lease negotiation, financial analysis, market research, and consultation, having previously served at Cushman & Wakefield, where he negotiated more than $15 million of transactions.
A lawyer by trade, Cilman clerked in the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Commodities and Futures Trading Commission, and with the law firm of Butzel Long.
He graduated with a degree in finance from Virginia Tech and holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of America.
Associate Yosef Apple will be focusing on investment sales in New York. Most recently, Apple served as an intern with Old City Investment Partners, LLC, in New York.
Prior to that, he spent more than five years completing rabbinical studies in Israel and the U.S. He is fluent in Yiddish and Hebrew.
Associate Robert (Robby) Ptacek will work in support of Executive Director Richard Charkham.
Ptaceck earned a B.S. in Sports Business from Central Connecticut State University. He played professional basketball in the Czech Republic.

Megalith Capital Management announced that David Shapiro has joined the firm as director of acquisitions and development.
In his role, Shapiro is focused on the growth of the Megalith platform through acquisition, development and joint venture partnerships.
Prior to joining Megalith, Shapiro developed a 260,000 s/f Upper East Side residential site and invested in a hospitality brand and portfolio of three assets. These projects included assembling, financing, designing and operating roles.
Shapiro’s capital markets experience includes fundraising for a closed-end value-add investment vehicle with Ivy Realty.
At the start of his career, he worked for seven years in the investment bank at JPMorgan advising clients on M&A, debt and equity transactions.
Shapiro holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. focused in real estate from Cornell University and is a member of the Cornell Hotel Society.

Marcus & Millichap announced that Daniel Lisser has joined Marcus & Millichap’s Capital Corporation as Senior Director Originations.
Based in the company’s Manhattan office, Lisser will be responsible for originating commercial real estate debt and equity solutions nationwide.
He joins the firm from Walker & Dunlop which he joined as part of the Johnson Capital acquisition, where he was Senior Vice President.
Throughout his career, Lisser has been responsible for the origination and underwriting of over $5 billion of commercial mortgages and $3 billion of commercial mortgage sales throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Lisser was a Principal and Senior Managing Director for Johnson Capital, where he was responsible for originating and placing real estate capital, both debt and equity, for commercial and multi-family properties.
Lisser also spent a combined six years at the Ackman Ziff Real Estate Group and Secured Capital Corp.
He was previously on the board of governors of the Young Mortgage Bankers Association. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clarkson University and Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

GFI Capital Resources Group, Inc. announced that real estate accounting professional Diane Yodice, RPA, has joined the company as controller.
Yodice, who is based in the firm’s New York City office, will oversee all accounting functions at GFI Capital and several of its affiliates, including GFI Insurance Services, GFI Management Services, GFI Realty Services and GB Lodging.
Most recently, Yodice was director of property management accounting at Amtrust Realty Corp. Previously, she served as a New York group financial manager for Cushman & Wakefield, and as a property manager at AMB Property Corporation, the San Francisco-based REIT that subsequently merged with Prologis.
The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John’s University, Yodice also received a Real Estate Salesperson’s license from the NY Real Estate Institute, a Property & Casualty license from The Hill School of Insurance, and Real Property Administrator designation from BOMI.

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Toby Dodd has been appointed Executive Managing Director, Global Occupier Services, leading the Account Management business across Tri-State, Mid-Atlantic and New England.
Dodd moves into the role from his previous leadership position within Cushman & Wakefield as Managing Director for the Singapore business, a role he assumed in 2011.
Dodd will relocate from Singapore to New York City and will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing overall strategy for the firm’s largest occupier client accounts in the region across all service lines.
He will be responsible for leading a team of over 1,800 professionals, client service delivery standards and the financial performance of the group.
Prior to Mr. Dodd’s role as Managing Director in Singapore, in 2007 he founded Cushman & Wakefield in Vietnam, based in Ho Chi Minh City, and was responsible for developing and leading all country operations.
He had relocated to Asia Pacific in 2004, working in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing managing some of the company’s leading corporate real estate accounts across Asia Pacific, including India and China, managing the acquisition of over 7 million square feet of commercial space.
Dodd initially joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2001, working in London and acting for a number of high profile international developers and multinational tenants providing professional real estate services, including leasing, investment and valuation.
He has a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Valuation & Estate Management, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

GFI Realty Services, LLC announced that Justin Fitzsimmons has joined the company as a research and market analyst.
Prior to joining GFI Realty, Fitzsimmons served as a research and market analyst of investment sales at MNS Real Estate, a New York City-based real estate brokerage that specializes in the marketing, sale and rental of residential properties.
He started his career at Massey Knakal, where he focused on market analysis and in-house promotion for the firm’s exclusive listings.
Fitzsimmons, who received his bachelor’s of science in finance from Brooklyn College, is a member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the Real Estate Board of New York.

The recent Monmouth University graduate is focusing on tenant and landlord representation, and national account management, working with a seasoned brokerage team led by Bill Brown and Ben Brenner.
Iantosca previously served as a commercial brokerage intern at Zimmel Associates, and as a marketing intern at Freehold Center Management Corporation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in real estate.

Previously, Andrew served as an Associate General Counsel at the company.
Since he joined Moinian in 2011 Plotkin has helped oversee all legal matters and contracts pertaining to Moinian’s developments, sales, leasing, financial services and more.
