Weichert launches rebranded property management company

New Jersey-based Weichert has rebranded its wholly-owned property management company as Weichert Property Management.

David Hardy, a one-time executive director with FirstService Residential, will lead Weichert Property Management as president.

The company will offer services ranging from relocating employees and renters, including tenant screening, marketing, property valuation and maintenance, lease agreements, rent collection, property sales and analysis, among others.

“I am thrilled to be in charge of all corporate property management services, functions and service teams, powered by excellence,” said Hardy. “It is an honor to hold ultimate responsibility for Weichert Property Management’s strategic growth and the execution of the entity’s value proposition, to put the power of excellence to work for each customer, transforming property management into a more successful and rewarding experience.”

Hardy previously ran Weichertʼs property management subsidiary, Aureus Property Management. Before that, he was with FirstService and earlier spent 17 years with Realogy Corporation, including serving in two senior vice president roles.
