Turkish architecture firm opens office at 111 John Street in Lower Manhattan

Tabanlıoğlu Architects has announced the opening of an office in New York City.

The Istanbul-based firm’s new office is located in Lower Manhattan at 111 John Street.

“New York City is the world center of business, commerce and design, and we look forward to increasing the firm’s international practice with our New York office,” said Murat Tabanlıoğlu, founding partner of Tabanlıoğlu Architects.

“We are excited to expand into this great market with our growing and talented professional staff.”

Throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and most recently the United States, Tabanlıoğlu Architects has developed design alternatives for residential buildings, offices, industrial facilities, shopping malls and transformation projects.

It has offices in Doha, London and Dubai and in New York City has designed buildings including 118 East 59th Street, and 442 & 436 East 13th Street. It also has several buildings under consideration in South Florida.

Some of the firm’s major global projects include the Dakar Congress Center in Dakar, Senegal; the Zorlu Center in Istanbul, Turkey and the Astana Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan.
