MetaProp NYC announces first slate of events for NYC Real Estate Tech Week

Real estate tech accelerator MetaProp NYC has announced the first events for the third annual New York City Real Estate Tech Week.

Tech Week, which runs from October 2-13, will be held at various venues across the city. The main event will be the MIPIM PropTech Summit, which will host the American leg of MIPIM’s Global Startup Competition.

“New York City Real Estate Tech Week 2017 is substantially bigger and better this year, as we continue to attract the most exciting PropTech organizations and individuals from around the city, nation and the world to curate and hold magnetic events attracting the best real estate tech thinkers, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs,” said Aaron Block, the co-Founder and managing director of MetaProp NYC. “For the second year, New York City Real Estate Tech Week’s events will be anchored by the MIPIM PropTech Summit. In addition, we have kinetic indoor and outdoor events, such as the REBNY New York New, York VIP Tours, that will bring attendees into actual contact with some of the massive projects using real estate technology right here in the center of the PropTech world.”

Opening Reception – October 9, 7:30pm to 10:30pm

BuiltWorlds ConTech Roadshow – October 9

Chicago-based BuiltWorlds will host its roadshow event at MetaProp NYC’s headquarters. The 50-person, invitation only event features ConTech networking, speakers and demonstrations of local trends in built environment technologies. The New York roadshow event will focus on bidding and pre-construction.

REBNY New York, New York  VIP Tours – October 10

NYC Real Estate Tech Week 2017 attendees can sign up for REBNY’s VIP tours, highlighting some of the most important real estate neighborhoods in New York City.  These tours, presented by the Real Estate Board of New York and led by NYC residents, are designed to give out-of-town and local attendees a flavor for New York’s most intriguing development landscapes, construction trends, leasing updates and PropTech implementations. New York City owners and developers also take part in an exclusive spotlight on their projects and exposure to a live audience of up to 30-50 NYC RETech Week attendees from around the world.

NYC Real Estate Technology Startups (NYCRETS) Meetup – October 9, 7 to 9 pm

NYCRETS is made up of more than 1,000 PropTech enthusiasts who meet regularly to discuss new technologies.

IBREA Annual Conference – October 10

The International Blockchain Real Estate Association (IBREA) will hold its second annual conference, held this year in New York City. At this full day event, top professionals from the real estate and blockchain technology industries will gather together in panel discussions and working groups, and select startups in this space will have the opportunity to showcase their companies.

MIPIM PropTech Summit – October 11

The second annual MIPIM PropTech Summit will take place at Convene (117 West 46th Street). The MIPIM PropTech Summit brings together real estate decision makers from all sectors with innovative startups and technology. The MIPIM PropTech Summit will also host the North American leg of the MIPIM Global Startup Competition 2018, which takes place March 2018 in Cannes, France. The competition recognizes the most dynamic international startups offering real estate and urban management solutions and provides those competing with an opportunity to meet and pitch business to investors, developers, financial companies, media analysts and other key influencers

Closing Reception – October 13, 8:30am to 11:30am
